Online Degrees - Online degree diploma education

Online Degrees, an online education portal, is launching a free online calculator to help job seekers determine the value of a college degree. They will also offer career advice to educate people about the salaries of various professions.

The College Degree Calculator is set to review more than 300 professional degrees and over 800 occupations in order to evaluate the value of a degree. The calculator uses official Bureau of Labor Statistics to estimate lifetime salaries for hundreds of jobs, and will cover issues like the gender wage gap and the best and worst investment in college degrees.

Online Degrees reveals that the highest paying degrees are in the math field, such as accounting and economics. Some of the lowest paying degrees are in education, library science, sociology and psychology.

Engineering degrees often lead to the highest paying jobs, while public servants are the worst paid degree holders in the U.S.

Online degrees also lists median salaries by gender and degree.
